The "Dipartimento di Automazione, Elettromagnetismo, Ingegneria dell’Informazione e Matematica Industriale " (DAEIMI) is a department of thefaculty of Engineering at Cassino University. It specialises in the following sectors:

- Automation
- Electromagnetism
- Computer science
- Industrial mathematic

Although this name may seem long, through it we wish to show the extent of our engineering research interests.
The many skills and interests within the department have given rise to active cooperation in the Scientific Community both at national and international level.
The department is also active at a local level actively promoting scientific and technological transfers.
Our fields of research are at the fore-front technological challenges facing the world of industry and the service sector. The activities of our department are therefore not just aimed at purely theoretical formulation but are also focused on improving many of the practical aspects of modern life such as:

- Quality benefits demand for increasing level of industry automation;
- Transport system improvements;
- Telecommunication and information service developments;
- Non destructive testing (NDT) method.
